Our white porcelain vases are all unique. A series of 100 pieces made in our workshop. Created with the dripping machine we invented, and hand-made techniques, we combine both to create a series of vases with different patterns.

Created in Eindhoven with our dripping machine MOCA, each pattern is different due to the codes we use and the colored glaze we mix for dripping. It means the blue intensity and height pattern vary between pieces. Choose your unique vase!

The Moca “10000 Drops” collection is a limited edition of 100 white and blue porcelain vases. Numbered and signed. It comes with a certificate of authenticity that we sign.
We produce them one by one, with care. So, we continuously add them to the website as soon as they are finished! You can also contact us if you would like to put an option on a specific number or would like to order one.
Ten Thousand Drops is a series of 100 unique ceramic vases: they are all white and blue porcelain vases. They have the same shape, but each one has a unique glazing pattern. The project results from a continuous experiment with the dripping machine MOCA, developed by Studio Joachim-Morineau (Yes, it’s us! We create many more products aside MOCA Tableware). The machine drips liquid glaze at a precise rhythm, which creates innovative ceramics with a distinct visual language. Every piece is unique, showcasing the perfect combination of technology and craft with a human/natural touch.
We drip glazing on top of the vase to create a mathematical pattern: “10,000 drops”. By experimenting with the computer code, we aim to push the technique’s limits and explore the maximum number of combinations that can be created.

Numbered: We number each vase with a stamp on the inside of the neck (for example: “12/100”). We also stamp “Studio Joachim-Morineau”, our design studio name.
Materials: White porcelain, with coloured glazing on the outside and transparent glazing on the inside.
Production: Slip-casted and finished by hand in our workshops in Eindhoven & Nantes.
Pattern: We create each pattern with the dripping machine we invented.
