A good gift is a gift that lasts! Carla and I (Jordan) share a simple belief in our design practice: the products we create should be made to last long and with great materials. That’s why we put so much care into the porcelain we produce. And thanks to our dripping machine, every piece we craft is unique.
We love the idea that whoever receives a Moca Tableware gift will cherish it, look after it, and keep it for as long as possible. And we can tell you it’s not just a promise; we know people do! From the start of the MOCA project in 2018, to launching the brand in 2024, to today, we’ve regularly given and used our cups, bowls and plates. The feedback is always wonderful, on quality and durability as much as on design. Personally, both of us use them literally every day: the bowls for our muesli breakfasts (or for bites during a French aperitif!), the cups for our coffees and the plates for our lunches and dinners!

For coffee (and tea) lovers
This is probably our favourite category to give. Someone who loves coffee usually has a ritual, and a beautiful porcelain cup turns that ritual into a little moment of their own. For espresso devotees, our espresso cup is perfect: just right for a ristretto or a cortado, with its unique blue pattern. We made them the right size, so you can also add a bit of milk if you ever want to!
To make it special, the set of two espresso cups is made for sharing, perfect for a couple. And for big cappuccino or tea drinkers, our mug (or the set of two mugs) is the kind of piece they will use daily. It’s exactly what we reach for during our morning coffee breaks at our workshop!
For a housewarming or a new home
When someone moves in, you want a gift that’s both beautiful and useful, and at the same time unique. Once again, the espresso cup set is great, but our bowls are ideal as well: the large bowl for a morning muesli or an evening soup, and the set of bowls so two people can enjoy them. It’s the kind of ceramic piece you use every day without ever tiring of it. And let’s not forget that these gifts would be a daily reminder of who gave it!
For a wedding or a big celebration
A wedding is exactly the kind of moment when you want to give something that matters. Not yet another object that ends up forgotten. And that’s where our plate sets really come into their own!
Our set of 6 dessert plates or our set of 6 dinner plates is a gift that dresses a whole table. We love imagining the young (or not) couple using them for their first dinners together, their Sunday brunches, their family meals… for years. And since no two of our pieces are alike, it’s a bit like giving them a service that belongs to them alone. Sometimes you want to mark a big moment with something rare. Our 10,000 Drops vase is our most accomplished piece: a numbered, limited edition, born directly from our research around the dripping machine. It’s not quite tableware anymore: it’s a collector’s piece, a gift to be passed on. Each vase was made in our workshop, then we use our dripping machine to create a unique glaze pattern.
For a company: the personalised gift
Giving clients or teams something handmade says a lot. We work with brands and companies to create corporate ceramic gifts: custom cups, mugs or bowls in your colours or with your stamp, with pricing adjusted to quantity.
