One year after the physical launch of MOCA Tableware, we come back with larger plates and a special DDW coloured series!
Over the last year we focused on communication and extending the plates collection. We also showed our work at fairs like Maison&Objet, ShowUp and started placing the collection in selected shops and museums. The aim now is to keep growing, to expand the collection step by step, introduce new colours and build meaningful collaborations with manufactures, restaurants, concept stores, etc.
MOCA Tableware began as a research and finally became a brand in 2024. Our approach is hybrid: We combine tools, materials, and techniques to create unique ceramics that tell a story. Our collections are made with the “Dripping Machine” we invented. This machine pours liquid porcelain drop by drop into plaster moulds, creating unique patterns and textures. We control the dripping through a code that we change for each series. Speed, movement, code, and pigments all influence the outcome, giving each porcelain piece its own unique pattern.
From design to mould-making and production, the entire process is done in our workshops in Eindhoven and Nantes.
